Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Cubao, Quezon City

Position Type: Full-time

Job Overview: As a Bookkeeper at our Company, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from accounts payable to accounts receivable. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records will be crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain Financial Records: Record all financial transactions accurately and promptly using accounting software.
  2. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Ensure timely payment of bills and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  3. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  4. Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll for employees, ensuring all deductions and taxes are accurately calculated and processed.
  5. Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a regular basis.
  6. Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  7. Audit Support: Prepare financial documents and support materials for audits conducted by external auditors.
  8. Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data and providing insights to management for informed decision-making.
  9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  10. Communication: Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support as needed.
  11. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial records in a timely manner.
  12. Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

    Qualifications:

  13. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  14. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
  15. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  16. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  17. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  18. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  19. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  20. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
