The Opportunity

We're looking for a Business Analytics Specialist to join our GBS COO – Business Insights & Analytics team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to design and develop metrices, reports, and analyses to drive key business decisions . Moreover, this position will require you to gather and transform data and information from various sources into valuable reports, dashboards, and insights for management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating reports that highlight key metrics and trends and providing analysis on the findings of the report.
  • Designing and developing dashboards that help users to understand complex data.
  • Directly working with stakeholders to gather requiremen ts, generate reports, and present findings and analysis .
  • Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of assigned reports.
  • Undertake complex ad-hoc requests and projects as required .

How will you create impact?

You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the organization's leaders and business units in order to assess and document the key performance indicators (KPIs) of the company. Your reports and dashboards will offer insightful analysis on the company's overall deliverables, providing valuable insights into its operational status and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School/Senior High/Vocational Course/1-year completed in a Bachelor's program with relevant work experience of at least 2 years; Bachelor's Degree holders are welcome to apply
  • Experience: At least 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: 3x a week work onsite (Quezon City). Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
  • Shift Schedule: Mid Shift work schedule

Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:

  • Should have advanced knowledge on Microsoft Excel (Power Query & VBA Macro) and intermediate to advanced knowledge on Microsoft PowerPoint and Business Intelligence Tools such as PowerBI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau, or any other similar tool
  • Should have hands-on experience at collecting, transforming, and compiling raw data and generating useful reports from the raw information.
  • Should have demonstrated data storytelling and data visualization skills to create compelling reports with dashboard elements like tables, charts, graphs, heat maps, and data models.
  • Should have analytical skills to rigorously and effectively examine large quantities of data and derive useful insights from these data sets.
  • Should be able to provide mentorship on best practices in reporting and dashboarding to other team members , and lead team initiatives and projects .
