THE ROLE

Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including HP/Aruba switches, access points, and Palo Alto SD-WAN.

Administer and optimize cloud resources within Azure, Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability.

Ensure the availability and performance of databases including Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system upgrades, patching, security configurations, and equipment monitoring using cloud-native and on-premises tools.

Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, implementing solutions to maintain uptime and performance.

Manage and administer Windows Server, Oracle, Ubuntu, and other Linux-based systems.

Collaborate with IT teams across other disciplines to ensure smooth integration and problem resolution.

Document procedures and maintain accurate records of all activities.

Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in the field.

THE CANDIDATE

3+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Operations Engineer.

Experience in cloud computing concepts (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud).

Foundational understanding of networking, including HP/Aruba with Palo Alto-SD-WAN; CCNA level knowledge.

Proven skills in managing and troubleshooting databases like Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.

Strong experience with Ubuntu and other Linux-based systems.

Knowledge of deployment and CI/CD practices.

Strong experience with Windows Server environments.

Experience with server patching and Level 2 support for large-scale infrastructure.

Knowledge of global security frameworks and standards like CGMP, HIPAA, CIS, NIST, FIPS is a plus.

Knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL utilizing ServiceNow is an advantage.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
