Job description:
Financial Records Validation

  • Checks for completeness and accuracy of financial data for recording and reporting by reviewing sources of raw data, methodology for calculation, data retrieval process, etc.
  • Validates regular reports in a timely and efficient manner – snapshots reports, financial reports (unearned revenue, revenue reports, etc.)
  • Regularly reviews, validates and updates processes and inputs related to sources of financial data (particularly billing, upload to SAP).
  • Ensures that required review and validation on inventory replacements/extensions are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Analyzes causes of errors, discrepancies, abnormal trends in the reports and other relevant financial data.
  • Coordinates with report/process owners to reconcile variances and discrepancies.
  • Initiates coordination with assigned parties to swiftly resolve such issues (IT, Finance, Technical, Billing, etc.)
Financial/Management Report Validation & Analytics

  • Verifies the accuracy of reports submitted to the management and external out of the organization (e.g. Top Man, Sub base and other Financial reports).
  • Oversees activities affecting financials to ensure completeness and accuracy of transactional data from source systems/platforms.
  • Evaluates financial impact of activities.
  • Upholds integrity of data and financial reports through parallel checking/cross validation of all parameters involved.
  • Recommends required changes or corrections as needed and initiates inter-department coordination with relevant groups (IT, Network, etc.) to swiftly resolve issues.
  • Evaluates data and management report information sources, proposes measures and controls to improve accessibility and accuracy of data.
Margin and Profitability

  • Checks margin and profitability of offers and services and recommends controls to mitigate financial risks, maximize revenue and manage costs.
  • Ensures delivery, completion and submission of the required financial risk/profitability assessment reports in a timely manner.
  • Reviews and ensures that quality standards of profitability assessment reports are met.
  • Escalates issues about data integrity and data source channels which have an impact on report output.
