Headed a combined DevOps and Business Solutions focus on efficient operations by overseeing the implementation, deployment, and integration of solutions responsible for maintaining and executing organizational policies and procedures for change management, configuration management, releases and deployment management, service monitoring, support, and problem management.

B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs overall management of information systems projects including the purchase and implementation of software packages or internally developed systems.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding new software applications ensuring that applications are compatible with the IT standards.
  • Responsible for defining an associated cross-functional tools to ensure adoption and continuous improvement and play an active part to provide cost effective solution development that supports an iterative development methodology and dynamic business.
  • Oversee the coordination, integration, and flow of development, testing, and deployment to support continuous delivery.
  • Approve project schedules, scope changes, deployment, and implementation strategies.
  • Develop programming standards and documentation requirements.
  • Transform development processes for existing applications software development into a continuous delivery-driven to adjust working practices in alignment with modern software development and delivery approaches.
  • A shared responsibility with System Admin for monitoring server and application performance ensuring that it is safe and secure against cybersecurity threats and being compliant with IT security standards.
  • Take ownership of the DevOps discipline and be responsible for managing all server/infrastructure related issues
  • Mentoring and guiding team members
  • Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support.
  • Team member in preparing IT budget for all business units. Budget must ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems, cost-effective leading-edge solutions, and forecast additional hardware/software/networking requirements.

C. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational Attainment: Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant field.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of at least five years of working experience in the related field.
  • Managing application development, software delivery life cycle, and or infrastructure development and administration
  • Knowledgeable/Experience in Agile (Scrum) software development methodology /DevOps and working in PMO is a plus
  • Proficiency in the .Net stack: ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Web API
  • Experience in writing efficient SQL scripts.
  • Advance knowledge of object-oriented programming, relational database, and software
  • Experienced in Bulk and Breakbulk Operations

4. Training/Certification: None required.

5. Skills: Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile Principles. Have a technical skill to review, verify, and validate software code developed in the project.
