  • To provide support to Financial Controller to ensure compliance to the Group Policies and local regulations.
  • Manage Accounts Payable, including but not limited to preparation of the required documents for payment processing, liaising with HK/SG team to ensure PO matching and data entries into the accounting system.
  • Follow up on proper Official/Collection Receipts from the vendors to comply with local tax requirements.
  • Assist the collection of accounts receivable including but not limited to issuing of Official Receipts as well as, ensuring the tax forms are received from customers to comply with local tax requirements.
  • Provide support for new vendor/ new customer codes creation in the accounting system as required for finance function.
  • Prepare monthly journals and schedules for month end financial closing.
  • Provide assistance to the annual statutory financial audit as well as any other audits that may be conducted by the Group.
  • Proper filing of documentations for finance function.
  • Administrative support including arranging for messenger to send/collect documents for finance function.
  • Other tasks / functions that may be assigned by the Company as per business requirement. These may change from time to time to reflect the changing requirement of your position and our business.
  • Back up of Financial Controller during her absence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent (CPA is a Plus)
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • 4-7 years work experience in the area of Accounting/Finance
  • Knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, taxation laws and other regulatory requirements in the Philippines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, Self starter who is target-driven and motivated
  • Detailed and process-oriented;
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio etc), accounting software.
  • Able to work independently / under pressure.
