About the Role:

We're searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing & Events Manager to join our growing team. You'll play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting the sales team through event participation and marketing initiatives. This role offers a unique blend of event management, marketing execution, and team leadership.

Ideal Candidate (must have requirements):
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing or management of physical and online events.
  • Proven track record of successfully organizing and executing marketing events - eg. phone calls to venues and event managers to ensure all is correct for local AU team attendance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in content creation, website management, and social media marketing (particularly LinkedIn).
  • Proficient in project management and marketing automation tools (CRM, analytics platforms).
  • Budget management and financial planning skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A passion for brand building and creating engaging marketing campaigns.
  • Employee work set-up will be onsite in our office in IT Park/Avenir, Cebu City

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the recruitment or outsourcing industries.
  • Experience with public relations or paid content marketing strategies.
  • A demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Event Management:
    • Oversee event execution, budgeting, logistics, and sponsorship opportunities for relevant industry events.
    • Manage relationships with key event contacts and vendors - all events are based in Australia. These are in-person trade shows and conference events, or online web.
    • Support the sales team by equipping them with essential event collateral (brochures, flyers, merchandise, pull-up banners).
    • Ensure efficient capture and entry of event leads into the CRM system (HubSpot).
    • Analyze event ROI and compile accurate post-event reports (CPL / CPA).
  • Marketing & Brand Building:
    • Manage relevant industry award submissions, highlighting the VA Platinum's achievements.
    • Assist with promoting webinars (both company-hosted and partner-hosted).
    • Oversee website content creation and regular content updates.
    • Coordinate with external graphic designers to meet the needs of marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders including the CEO and CCO, to develop and manage LinkedIn outreach strategies and online brand building activities.
    • Support PR initiatives and explore paid media content opportunities.
  • Support the management of departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other marketing team members
