Do you have game art experience, and are you seeking a new job in Manila, the Philippines? We are helping a gaming studio find an Art Director for Mobile, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

As an Art Director for Mobile, you will help manage assets developed by external and internal art teams. You will work closely with the Creative Director, Executive Producer and Design Director to ensure all art meets the proper specifications and is then properly imported into the game.

In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:

  • Oversee and manage the art team, providing guidance, feedback, and direction to every artist individually
  • Conduct regular art meetings, reviews, and critiques to ensure that the artwork aligns with the established style and quality standards
  • Oversee art pipelines, tools and processes for internal and external art production
  • Ensure all company and studio-wide art production is coordinated and optimised

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience creating 3D game art and be technically inclined with excellent feedback and organizational skills. Further requirements include:

  • 8+ years of art leadership for major mobile, console or PC releases
  • 5+ years in a management role
  • Experience creating style guidance and setting visual principles
  • Skill leading a team of creatives
  • Experience with Maya, ZBrush, 3D Modeling, Animation, Effects, 2D Art Tools and Unity.
