Accountant - with UK experience

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare year-end accounts, ensuring adherence to UK FRS102 1A.
  • Manage the entire client general ledger and perform reconciliations (PAYE / VAT / Hire Purchase, etc.).
  • Make necessary adjustments to accounts to correct errors and discrepancies.
  • Prepare corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT.
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting and tax regulations.
  • Provide accounting services to all areas of the client's business as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience working with a UK firm is ideal but not necessary.
  • Experience in using Xero and Iris is highly preferred but not required.
  • Meticulous with a keen attention to detail.
  • Organized, goal-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Willing to work on a UK shift (3:30 PM to 11:30 PM MNL).
  • Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home setup.
  • Working hours may be adjusted after the probationary period based on performance.
