The Risk and Compliance Manager oversees VAP's comprehensive risk & compliance management area, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the company. The role also ensures consistent, regular, and objective audits across divisions.

Ideal Candidate (must have requirements):
  • Must be Cebu-based
  • Having worked in the Virtual Assistant industry is advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Good understanding of the risk management policies and best practices
  • PMI-RMP Certified
  • Knowledgeable in creating safety and security policies, business continuity, and recovery measures
  • Able to identify gaps or inconsistencies within a business process or system and come up with action plans to address them
  • Has a track record of successfully managing software systems, data, and ISO compliance, among other things.
  • Must exhibit both academic understanding and real-world experience such as:
    • mastery of time-management software like Time Doctor
    • supervision of ISO renewals
    • maintenance of physical security
    • first-rate client relations.
  • With a strong foundation in IT, particularly in digital security.
  • Although strategic thinking is important, applicants should also be ready to work directly on tasks.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Conducts risk assessments, collecting and analyzing data, statistics, reports, and market trends
  • Creates policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization
  • Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols - establish recommendations and implement modifications and improvements
  • Reviews and analyzes metrics and data such as screen capture violations, inventory, breakage, and employee activity that could uncover fraudulent behavior
  • Presents risk reports and proposals
  • Manage data security, implement site safety, and ensures the realization of the data security commitment to the client
  • Conduct data security training and carry out regular security audits
