Meet the team:

This is position within the Medical Affairs department focusing on Medical/Clinical Claims and Promotional Review. This position will be a contributing member of the North American and Asia-Pacific Promotional Material Review Team (PMRT) and the Global Medical Review Committee (MRC). This position interacts directly with the Medical Affairs department and closely collaborates with the Regulatory, Marketing (consumer, HCP, international/global, and payer), Biostats, Medical Writing, Compliance and Legal teams on promotional copy review, new claim development, and ensuring the claims trace matrix is current and globally relevant. This position is responsible for the current review of CGM and/or diabetes relevant literature and proactively bring key clinical evidence to the cross-functional claims development team to review and implement as approved marketing claims. The candidate is expected to adapt to change, be very detail oriented and be able to critically analyze and interpret clinical studies for outcomes and clinical methodology.

Where you come in:

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and maintain existing product and marketing claims matrices.
  • You will support the development of a global promotional review process and claims development procedure that is consistent yet mindful of regional nuances.
  • You will provide medical and clinical review of global advertising and promotional material to ensure clinical data and medical terminology are accurate and referenced appropriately.
  • You will stay current with clinical literature regarding glucose management, diabetes, and CGM.
  • You will regularly review key diabetes and technology journals to identify and bring forward key clinical or product claims.
  • You will collaborate with global Medical and Clinical Affairs teams to develop new claims for inclusion in the product and/or outcome claims matrices.
  • You will support the Promotional Review Team meetings for the development of new claims.
  • You will communicate new and approved claims with Marketing and Commercial Teams.
  • You will assess the current claims development process and seek efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • You will clearly communicate necessary changes in promotional materials and the reasons behind them.
  • You will interact daily with Veeva Promotional Review software to review and approve promotional materials.
  • You will stay current on FDA and other regulatory bodies' guidance on health and product claims creation and implementation.
  • You will support the development of an internal audit process for claims utilization in promotional materials, working closely with Compliance and Legal.
  • You will support management in evaluating our claims matrix development process and accessibility to cross-functional colleagues globally through Veeva reporting.
  • You will attend internal meetings as appropriate.
  • You will perform tasks or projects under the direct supervision of the Medical Affairs and Medical Science teams.
  • You will perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you successful:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
  • You possess clinical registration or licensure as RD, RN, or PharmD.
  • You have current knowledge of diabetes literature.
  • You are well-versed in clinical study methodology and scientific literature review.
  • You can critically analyze studies for their strengths and limitations.
  • You have strong communication skills and work well with teams to gain alignment.
  • You have strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.
  • You can develop complex project plans and submissions with minimal supervision.
  • You work well independently and within a cross-functional team environment.
  • You have experience working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • You have a working knowledge of document control software systems.

Preferred Qualification

  • You have a master's degree in a science-related field.
  • You demonstrate proficient organization, problem-solving, and proactive learning skills.
  • You function well in ambiguity.
