ABS-CBN Music is a Line of Business (LOB) under ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. (AFPI).

The ABS-CBN Music Group is engaged in the business of music content production, marketing and promotions, including allied businesses such as music publishing and music distribution, talent management and events organization.


The Group's activities revolve around these brands:
Music Labels (Star Music, Tarsier Records, Star Pop, DNA Music, and other sub-labels), MOR Entertainment and OneMusicPH.

ABS-CBN Music also provides music servicing and copyright clearance services primarily to other business units of the ABS-CBN group.

Complementary to this business is the management of artists through the Music Management Group and the creation, mounting and line production of events with ABS-CBN Events.

The Company also produces commissioned recordings for films and television shows, commercial advertisements, and events for brands and other clients.

The Company also controls a valuable music publishing and sound recording catalogue of iconic Filipino hit songs which covers more than half a century.

These are licensed to third parties for various usages, including theme songs in TV shows and films, commercial advertisements, and recordings.

RESPONSIBILITIES1. Works with all internal departments and artists to effectively and creatively plan and execute compelling marketing and digital campaigns for ABS-CBN Music (including but not limited to Star Music, Star Pop, DNA Music) and other sub-labels releases 2. Create release strategies, marketing timeline and tactics of the singles and albums to target market and specific territorial markets. 3. Identifies visual directions and type of assets needed for the marketing execution.

  • Ensures creative visual output delivered by the department is of the highest standard and quality. 5. Implements music marketing plans from pre-release until during release week for the labels and artists.
  • Secures artist promo schedules, coordinate artist availability and update artist growth
  • Oversees promotional campaign on artist guesting for TV, radio, digital shows and events.
  • Builds relationships internally and externally to drive opportunity for the label and the artists.
  • Responsible for project P&L, budgeting, compliance controls of the music marketing department.
  • Maximizes the potential of our catalogue via marketing activities.
  • Initiates and coordinate the design and manufacturing of promo and merch items such as posters, stickers, shirts, hoodies, etc.
  • Creates and updates all artist marketing decks, marketing timelines, and other project-related documents.
  • Collect, organize, and circulate all artist assets including photos, artwork, logos, music, bio, teasers, etc.
  • Manages audio and video release schedule documentation for both local and international releases.
  • Communicates marketing drivers and pitch information for upcoming releases to digital streaming partners, including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, YouTube, Amazon, TikTok, etc.
  • Distributes marketing agendas and record meeting minutes to circulate afterward.
  • Use analytics tools to generate weekly reports on platforms such as Believe Backstage, Spotify For Artists, YouTube analytics, Social Media analytics etc.
  • Keeps oneself updated in order to be competitive in the market.
  • Attends to documentation and administrative requirements as part of the completion of
20. the services and day to day duties including calls, managing calendars, scheduling, etc.
