Job Overview
APPLUS+ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ariba Support Technician to join our team, someone who has Ariba or any purchasing platform experience as user/workflow administrator. This role is crucial to ensure the proper functioning and administration of the Ariba platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the user master, modifying approval workflows, loading and reviewing catalogs, troubleshooting order management issues and errors, and providing training to category managers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- User Master Data Management:
- Create, modify, and delete users in the Ariba platform.
- Manage user permissions and roles according to company policies.
- Ensure user accounts are up-to-date and aligned with security requirements.
- Approval Workflow Modification:
- Analyze and adjust approval workflows to meet organizational and process changes.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to understand their needs and optimize workflows.
- Document changes made and ensure proper implementation in the system.
- Catalog Loading and Review:
- Oversee the loading of supplier catalogs into Ariba.
- Perform periodic reviews to ensure the accuracy and currency of catalogs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to catalogs.
- Order Management Issue and Error Resolution:
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues related to order management.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring errors and propose preventive solutions.
- Provide technical support and advice to end users to ensure proper use of the platform.
- Training for Category Managers:
- Develop and deliver training programs for category managers on the effective use of Ariba.
- Create instructional materials and user guides to facilitate learning.
- Provide periodic and customized training sessions according to team needs.
Education, Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience working with Ariba or in a similar technical support role.
- Deep knowledge of the Ariba platform and its functionalities or any procurement platform experience.
- Analytical skills and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver technical training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic project management knowledge and organizational skills.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 2-4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
