AMENTUM is currently seeking Global Cash Analyst to support international programs. 

The Global Cash Analyst is responsible to perform accounting functions for Amentum programs in Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East; implement Global Cash processes across Amentum to ensure

compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and controls; ensure consistent and reliable accounts payable practices across all projects and programs. This position requires strong organization and problem solving’s skills,

knowledge of computer software (DELTEK Costpoint, OnBase, Excel, etc.), attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast -paced environment. GC Analyst must be adaptable to any Finance task that will be assigned every now and then.2

Regular Responsibilities Include:

  • Weekly accounting and reconciliation of petty cash transactions in Costpoint
  • Transactional audit of petty cash transaction on OnBase
  • Monitoring petty cash including Monthly accruals preparation
  • Ensure programs are compliance with petty cash policies and procedures.
  • Prepare metrics.
  • Training field cash custodians.
  • Weekly Accounting of Bank transactions in Costpoint
  • Support in Quarterly FCPA report
  • Prepare VAT Return (Coordinate and collect all necessary information from all involved departments,
  • AP, Procurement and Logistics)
  • Involve in the continuous improvement of the VAT process.

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency on Accounting Software (DELTEK Costpoint, OnBase, Cognos)
  • and MS Excel are both very important.
  • Prior experience liaising with external vendors and supporting internal programs/contracts is highly
  • desirable.
  • CPA Certification is preferred but not required.
  • Tax Training or Certification is preferred.

Work Experience Requirements

Required:

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in AP, General Accounting, Financial Statements and Account
  • reconciliations
  • At least 1-2 years, experience in VAT is highly desirable.
  • US Government contracting experience is a plus.
  • Must have a good work ethic and be available occasional nights and weekends if necessary, to accommodate operational needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements

Language Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees at all levels.
  • Ability to speak, writes, read, and comprehends English to a 12" grade level.

Reasoning Abilities:

  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power point required.
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and propose solutions.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
