Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Receivable:Process and record invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.Monitor and manage accounts receivable, following up on overdue payments and ensuring proper documentation.Prepare payment vouchers and ensure proper authorization for all disbursements2. Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring completeness and compliance with company policies.Assist with journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and account analysis.Help with month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring all necessary transactions are properly recorded.3. Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements with the company’s financial records on a regular basis.Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.4. Invoice Management & Billing:
Prepare and send invoices to customers.Ensure that billing information is accurate and up to date.Track payments and maintain records of transactions.5. Expense Monitoring:
Assist in monitoring and managing company expenses, ensuring that all expenditures are properly recorded and within budget.Process employee reimbursements and petty cash requests.6. Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.Compile data for financial audits and ensure that supporting documents are readily available.7. Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings.Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents and records for easy retrieval.8. Support to the Finance Team:
Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team, including managing schedules, communications, and documentation.Assist with any ad-hoc accounting tasks or projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or any related field.Experience: 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance roleSkills:Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.Good organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.-
