I. JOB MISSION/SUMMARY

 

The position is responsible for the demand and inventory management requirements including procurement activities of Company ensuring that the optimum levels of inventories is maintained to deliver high customer service at the least cost.

 

 

II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Coordinate with Sales for the timely preparation of forecast and understanding volume drivers to better manage demandEstablish and regular review of the ABC classificationEstablish inventory policies of assigned category for Star 360 products to ensure that optimum inventory levels are maintained for cost effectivenessReview and update inventory parameters in Microsoft AXReview sales performance vs. forecast on a monthly basis, compute for forecast accuracy and take necessary actions to address issues of products that are not performing in accordance with plansPrepare replenishment plans based on forecast and available inventory on a timely and accurate basisTimely preparation of the Purchase Requisition based on the scheduled replenishment plansPrepare Annual Production plan and coordinate with Production monthly production schedules and prioritiesPurchasing of trading items and materials for the timely deliveries of orders, expediting orders for critical inventories or inventories below minimum and deferring orders of products that are below volume performance.Coordinate the timely release of imported goods from Customs; prepare landed cost computationsClose monitoring of inventories in all stock locations and to take actions where necessaryCoordinate with Logistics timely delivery of orders to customers as well as deliveries of stocks to provincial depots.Provide feedback/update to Management, Marketing and Sales organization on stock-outs and status of critical items.Provide management and concerned parties on a regular basis list of non-moving items, slow moving products for disposition and/or move-out plans.Perform all other functions that may be assigned by the Manager from time to time

III. REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Industrial) or any related courseAt least 2 years in supply chain management preferably with experience in demand and replenishment planning and exposure to logistics operations, purchasing and customer service.Proficient in MS Excel), MS Word and MS PowerPoint.Well-developed analytical skills, articulate, innovative and confident.Flexible, able to work on own initiative, can work under pressure and tight deadlines, prioritize tasks accordingly.Knowledge or experience in dealing with external parties such as suppliers, brokers and forwarders, logistics and production shared services as well as corporate purchasingHas a strong background in Inventory and Forecasting.
