Qualifications & experience
5-10 years Quality Engineering/operational experiences in implementing processes, policies, and systems. Good Degree in Engineering or equivalent.Being certified in Quality professional techniques is expected.Strong knowledge of all quality tools & systems, ISO certification, etc.With proven track record in Quality Management, international exposure is a definite plus.Must have excellent knowledge, skillsets & experiences in precision product manufacturing environment (Knowledge and precision machining and rubber products formulation and manufacturing are a plus).Excellent leadership skills to lead technical & quality dept for sustainability towards continuous improvement.Strong ability on relationship building/networking with customers, suppliers, as well as internal stakeholders is a requirement.
Tasks & responsibilities
Apply suitable quality techniques, collaborate with sales, design, R&D, process development, and production teams using a holistic approach to understand customer needs and delights customers with flawless and innovative solutions.Ensure high standard of quality, develop & implement proven approaches that can enhance productivity, and uptime based on scalable, repeatable, cost-effective processes.Develop and implement best-in-class quality systems and techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma) that enable competitive engineering solutions, cost optimized manufacturing approaches, robust processes, and effective programs, in accordance with our vision for Five Star FactoryDevelop and apply relevant quality techniques (such as DFM, DFSS, QFD, etc.) to cultivate innovation excellence by developing breakthroughs in processes, products, procedures, methods, and materials.Determine key metrics for performance of customer, engineering, and quality teams. Identify and implement improvements.Guide and motivate worldwide team of technical & quality staff to support our global customers.Set key targets and provide data analytics of quality performance to relevant management teams. Assess effectiveness of quality solutions, customer satisfaction levels, and continuous improvement strategyResponsible in supervising performance of all quality assurance functions in 4 key areas and teams: Customer Quality, In-Process Quality Control, Supplier Quality Control, and Quality System development & enhancement. Develop and implement the strategic goals and objectives that are aligned with our vision for Five Star Factory. Jointly lead effort toward: High Performance Team, Customer Support, 8S/ESG, Operational Excellence, and Innovation Excellence.
