The Data Privacy Compliance Specialist is responsible for the following:

Completes, updates, and maintains the Records of Processing Activities (i.e., Data Processing Registry, Personal Data Inventory, Personal Data Flow Chart).Coordinates with stores and business units on the details and completeness of their data processing systems registry.Prepares all the required data and documents for the Annual Security Incident Report submission. Prepares all the corporate documents and DPS registries, and coordinates with the stores and business unitsParticipates in the conduct of PIA activities and provides preliminary assessments.Maintains records of PIA activities monthly.Consolidates the noted gaps in the conduct of PIA.Maintains the Data Subjects Registry.Coordinates with business units for the execution or status of data subject requests.Coordinates with relevant business units for facts gathering and resolutions taken for the reported security incidents or breaches.Documents the actions taken resolving the breach leading to the requirement to notify the NPC or data subject(s).Consolidates the reported security incident on a quarterly basis.Assists the Data Protection Officer in developing the data privacy and protection policies and procedures on data subjects’ rights management, data-consent management, PIA, and data privacy risk management, among others.Prepares minutes of the meeting for the Quarterly Data Privacy Committee Meetings, Data Privacy Teams Meetings, Data Breach Response Team Meetings, and other relevant meetings.Monitors the status of participation of RCC employees in the internal or external data privacy training programs.Acts as custodian of the Data Privacy Office’s policies, contracts, documents, and critical communications.Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of the Data Privacy Office or RCC goal attainment or for own personal or professional training, education, and development as planned by the Data Protection Officer.

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Internal Audit, Industrial Engineer, or Legal Management.

 

Experience

1 - 2 years work experience in data privacy compliance, information security, and/or risk management.Preferably with working to strong knowledge of the Philippine Data Privacy Act or relevant foreign privacy laws.Substantial experience in policy development and/or project management is a plus.

 

Skills & Knowledge:

Mid-level to high proficiency in the use of MS Office applications, especially in Excel and VisioProject management skillsGood written and verbal communication skills - can translate technical terms into simple business termsGood intrapersonal skills - can communicate effectively at all levels of the organizationAble to work in a team or independentlyWell-organized and detail-oriented
