SUMMARY

 

This position for a Sales Executive of HT&T Travel Philippines (“HT&T”), representing Qantas Airways (“QF” or “Principal”). Reporting to the QF Sales Manager, the successful candidate will represent QF and be responsible for managing and executing all QF’s sales and marketing plans and activities in the Philippines, including managing QF’s key customer and trade accounts; identifying new segments and customers; cultivating business relationships with key customer accounts; driving sales conversion; managing and converting groups sales requests; monitoring sales/revenue performance and preparing such reports; and achieving the revenue targets jointly set between QF and HT&T. 

This career opportunity is based in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, pitch and execute sales and marketing plans, initiatives and activities for QFDrive, grow and maximize QF’s sales revenue and in turn achieve HT&T’s revenue targetsMonitor and optimize sales delivery and performance across all segments, including corporate, labor, leisure, groups, etc.Collaborate closely with QF regional and HQ teams in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia respectively (including regional sales and marketing teams, MNL Station Manager, MNL Airport Ops team)Fulfil and achieve QF’s customer service targetsProduce and present timely and accurate sales/revenue reports to the Sales Manager and the PrincipalRaise QF’s brand presence and profile in the PhilippinesPromote and sell QF’s products and offeringsFoster strong relationships with the Principal, as well as trade partners (e.g. travel agencies, consolidators), governments (embassies, economic and tourism agencies), other industry partners and suppliers

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess strategic and innovative mindsetExcellent sales/commercial and marketing acumen. Quick to recognize and convert sales opportunities. Relevant and proven work experience in sales is preferredCustomer-centricity with the ability to recognize and probe customer needsProactive self-starter and takes accountability for own self-developmentA "can do" attitude to deliver positive results and exceptional service to the Principal, customers and trade partnersGood communication, sales, presentation and marketing skillsGreat interpersonal skills with internal stakeholders, and external customers and partners Fast learner and worker to act efficiently and professionally on service and quality issuesGood analytical skillsComputer literacy in Microsoft suite of applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams. Literacy in Salesforce and airline reservation systems preferred Ability to work effectively either independently or as part of a team
 

SALARY

Compensation package includes a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience, a variable incentive/bonus based on the Company’s overall financial performance and profitability; benefits including company-paid employee medical/accident insurance and mobile phone (with mobile plan), transportation allowance (based on actual expenses), and discounted staff travel benefits (at the Company’s discretion). The successful applicant may be required to work weekends, evenings and other times as needed.
