ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Budget Preparation : Provides support to FP&A Asst. Manager in collaboration and working closely with department heads and other cross-functional groups by collecting and analyzing financial data to develop the Annual and Quarterly Budget for the operations. Works directly with the Costing and General Accounting team during the closing process to have initial review of departmental general ledgers, transactional activity and providing relevant explanations to actuals and forecasts.Variance Analysis : Regularly monitor actual financial performance against budgeted or forecasted figures. Helps the FP&A Asst. Manager to investigate and report any significant variances, provides initial insights behind these differences regarding forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, revenue and COGS trend.Management Reporting : Prepare for initial KPI report drafts and analysis of monthly financial metric results. Assist the FP&A Asst. Manager in collecting and preparing relevant financial key metrics, presentations, and other management reporting needs and initiatives that impact the entire organization.Data Management : Maintains collected financial data and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information and utilize software and tools to streamline data analysis.Assist in automating the consolidated reporting process.Conduct necessary GL accounts and transaction reconciliations.Ad hoc business reporting and analysis as needed.

 QUALIFICATIONSEducation :BS/BA degree required in accounting field. CPA or FP&A certification is a plus.Expérience :

At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, Management Reporting or Cost Accounting.

 Skill/ Technical Requirements :

Proficient Microsoft Excel and Power point skills

Strong Accounting and Analytical skills

Reporting and Presentation skills
