The Finance Officer (CAPEX functions) is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s capital expenditure processes, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of CAPEX activities. This role is critical to supporting the strategic financial planning of the organization and ensuring that capital investments are aligned with business objectives.

Developing and managing CAPEX budget in collaboration with department headsMonitoring and tracking of CAPEX expenditures against approved budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliancePreparing monthly, quarterly, and annual CAPEX forecasts, and adjusting for vairances as necessary.Conducting in-depth financial analysis of capital expenditure projects.Coordinating the CAPEX approval process, ensuring that all projects adhere to company policies and procedures.Reviewing and evaluating CAPEX requests to ensure alignment with strategic goals and financial feasibility.Ensuring proper accounting treatment for CAPEX, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls over CAPEX processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Assisting in audits related to CAPEX, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or any equivalent course.With at least 3–5 years of work experience in CAPEX functions, financial budgeting, modeling and forecasting.Must have experience in financial analysis and reporting with strong focus in internal controls and compliance.Preferably, a CPA or holder of equivalent certification (CIA, CCSA, etc.).Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Must be driven, proactive, and detailed-oriented.Must be willing to work on a hybrid set-up either in Canlubang Laguna.
