Our business requires an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team for an immediate start.

Job Description

Policy Development:

Develop and implement L&D policies and procedures that support organizational goals and employee growth.Ensure all training programs comply with legal standards and best practices in the industry.Regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in the organization and industry trends.

Training Needs Analysis:

Conduct assessments to identify the training needs of employees across various departments.Collaborate with department heads and managers to understand specific skill gaps and development needs.Use data and feedback to prioritize training initiatives that align with business objectives.

Training Planning:

Design and develop comprehensive training plans that address identified needs and support the career development of employees.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and schedule training sessions.Ensure that the training plan is executed on time and within budget.

Training Administration:

Manage the logistics of training programs, including venue booking, materials preparation, and participant registration.Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.Provide administrative support to trainers and participants as needed.

Training Material Preparation:

Develop and update training decks, manuals, handouts, and other learning materials.Tailor content to meet the specific needs of different audiences within the organization.Incorporate multimedia elements and interactive tools to enhance learning engagement.

Training Delivery:

Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.Utilize various training methods, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning formats.Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and knowledge sharing.

Learning Measurement and Evaluation:

Develop and implement tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs.Collect and analyze feedback from participants to assess learning outcomes and areas for improvement.Prepare reports on training effectiveness, including ROI and impact on employee performance.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.Recommend and implement improvements to existing training programs and processes.Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.3-5 years of experience in learning and development or a similar role.Proven experience in training needs analysis, policy making, and training program administration.Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
