The Specialist, Health Services will be responsible for leading Insight's Health Services Functions for Insight Philippines.  This includes (but is not limited to) Occupational Safety and Health oversight together with the Health and Safety Committee, ensuring that teammates are at their optimum health through implementation of wellness programs, and building and maintaining relationships with them.  

 

What you’ll do at Insight

Health and Safety

Act as the primary contact for Manila Health Services.Lead the standard Health Initiatives of Insight PH as indicated in the Annual Health and Wellness Calendar which includes the Annual Physical Examination, Pre-Employment Medical Examination and Schedule, Annual Vaccination, Health and Wellness Webinars etc.The role is responsible for developing relevant and efficient Health & Wellness programs to promote and sustain a healthy lifestyle and optimize productivity and engagement.   Ensure timely reporting to respective government agencies (DOLE, OSH, IATF, etc.) of Health Monitoring Reports for compliance.Lead the implementation of process and policy improvements relating to the Health and Safety in close coordination with the Health and Safety Committee and Director, Human ResourcesOversee and drive Insight’s Health and Wellness partnerships and initiatives.Will function as Insight's Safety Officer 3 (OSH Certified), Mental Health First Aider and First Aider during medical emergencyConduct Health and Safety Orientations and trainingsMonitor and ensure completion of the Mandatory 8-hour OSH Training of newly hired teammatesCollaborate with Fun Committee for the design and implementation for employee engagementDraft and send communications regarding the latest health and wellness news, updates, advisories, and available perks.Maintain Health and Wellness  resources/page at Manila Sharepoint

 

Company Initiated Benefits

Liaise with the Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Life Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance for benefits enrollment, deletion, updates, utilization, claims, processing vendor payments and all other related activities.Serve as the main point of contact for company-initiated benefits (HMO, GLI, PA) from onboarding to completion/ renewal.Process and submit HMO deductions to payroll on or before the payroll cut-off datePrepares and submit HMO VAT exemption applicationValidates and analyze HMO/ EAP utilization report and create programs to manage/maintain low utilization rateResearch and design employee perks related to Health WellnessThird Party Vendor Management

 

Clinic Operations

Provide Primary Care to any teammates requiring and or seeking medical attention and provide for timely and accurate medical advice in close coordination with the partner physician.Serve Fit to Work certification and validate Medical clearances for returning to work teammates.Maintains and updates Employee Health 201 Files and ensure confidentiality at all times of the same files to avoid any Information Security breach.Maintains open lines of communication with other departments to ensure confidence and enhance the relationships within Insight. Represents Insight in a professional and business-like manner and communicates effectively with Insight associates and their customers.Design and implement clinic processes to ensure smooth operation.Process and approves medical and clinic requisition request (i.e. medicines, equipment, etc)Approve and verify Magna Carta eligibility.Assist, update, and monitor Pre-employment Medical Examinations for onboarding teammates.Prepare standard reports and participate during HR Townhall (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual)Some travel required.Other duties as assigned. 

 

What you’ll need to join Insight

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field, from a four-year College or UniversityA Board Licensure Passed Registered Nurse with valid PCR (Philippine Regulations Commission) Identification card.At least 5 years’ relevant experience, including demonstrated success in leading the health services or clinic function for a dynamic, growth-oriented organization; or equivalent combination of hospital and corporate clinic related experience.  Broad experience and expertise in primary care and triage for the corporate setting.Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the Philippine setting.Able to thrive in an environment characterized by rapidly changing requirements and an ongoing focus on meeting operational objectivesStrong written and verbal English communications skillsAble to successfully manage multiple prioritiesProven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationStrong commitment to company values and operating principlesAmenable to work in either mid/night shift and in a hybrid set up in (Ortigas-based)
