About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Engineering Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation / Multiplast Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are maintained across our production facilities.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Engineering Supervisor in overseeing the work of engineering teams and monitoring performance against production targetsCoordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimise downtime and optimise production workflowsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise on the production floor in a timely mannerConduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement in engineering processesProvide hands-on technical support and guidance to engineering staff as neededCollaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless operationsMaintain accurate records and documentation related to engineering activitiesContribute to the development and implementation of engineering strategies and initiatives

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within an engineering or manufacturing environmentStrong technical expertise and understanding of engineering principles, equipment, and processesProven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven cultureExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex technical challengesSolid project management and organisational capabilities to juggle multiple priorities effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional stakeholdersFamiliarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control proceduresA degree in Engineering or a related technical field is highly desirable
