The IT Network Administrator will be responsible for analyzing, designing, recommending, and overseeing the implementation of network requirements. This role includes managing network personnel, troubleshooting network problems, monitoring system performance, and coordinating with vendors and technical support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design and administration, as well as a strong understanding of LAN/WAN/Wireless technologies and IT security.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer the analysis, design, and implementation of new or additional networking requirements.Plan, direct, and review the activities of personnel involved in network design, connectivity, and implementation.Analyze the network system to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency; review connectivity requests for installation and modification requirements.Troubleshoot network problems and system failures, determining causes and possible solutions; implement solutions or escalate to management.Monitor the network for unusual conditions, taking corrective measures as needed.Monitor the performance of system software and utilities, conducting sensitivity analysis for potential upgrades or new technology adoption.Coordinate with the Technical Support Manager and other company officers on network-related equipment and material specifications for purchasing.

Other Responsibilities

Coordinate with vendors, including telecommunication companies, network contractors, and service providers, for new requirements, upgrades, or problem-solving.Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic & Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in network development, installation, implementation, and maintenance.Extensive experience in computer network system design, methods, techniques, and administration.Working knowledge of LAN/WAN/Wireless technologies and Cisco systems.Working knowledge of IT Security and Firewall technologies.
