Un Sous Chef Junior es responsable de ayudar a crear los menús, dirigir y capacitar al equipo de cocina para banquetes para que los huéspedes y miembros disfruten de una excelente experiencia y, a la vez, dirige los controles de costos de los alimentos.
¿Qué voy a estar haciendo?
Como Sous Chef Junior, serà responsable de ayudar a crear los menús, dirigir y capacitar al equipo de cocina para banquetes para que los huéspedes y miembros disfruten de una excelente experiencia. Un Sous Chef Junior también deberà dirigir los controles de costos de los alimentos. EspecÃficamente, serà responsable de realizar las siguientes tareas de acuerdo con los estÃndares mÃs altos:
- Ayudar a crear el menú
- Dirigir y capacitar al personal de cocina de manera efectiva para formar un equipo bien organizado y motivado
- Asegurar la calidad de los platos en todo momento
- Manejar las relaciones con el cliente cuando sea necesario, en ausencia del Sous Chef
- Asegurar que los recursos satisfagan las necesidades del negocio a través de un manejo efectivo de los turnos rotativos
- Mantener los estÃndares de la marca a través de la capacitación y evaluación del equipo
- Dirigir los controles de costos de los alimentos para contribuir a los ingresos de alimentos y bebidas
- Conocer las actividades de otros departamentos y sus implicaciones
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de higiene, salud, seguridad y mercaderÃa
