DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan, direct and coordinate activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems. Manage the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

2. Responsible in setting periodic target or milestone or formulate work plan or strategies to meet targets to satisfy the contract requirements.

3.Consolidate, review, analyzes and monitors methodology, work plan, project budget and contract management.

4. Checking and inspection of works in progress with reference to required availability of logistics quality and completion parameters.

5. Conducts regular meetings to determine if the actual works complies with agreed schedule and methodology.

6. Reports regularly to management regarding the status of the project and for any instructions order or policies management wants to implement.

7. Reports to the management pertinent issues, concerns, and updates on progress.

8.Responsible in preparation of the final report, highlighting the actual cost as compared to the original project budget.

9. Review of previous performance in comparison with the present job and budgetary restrictions.

10. Validates compliance to contract specifications/budget as stipulated in the contract agreement.

11. Monitors progress of works as required by the contract.

12. Represents the company in meetings with the owner, other contractors and other parties involved with the project.

13. Review and coordinates with designers/consultants for clarifications.

14. Responsible in initiating preparation of the project turnover and reconciliation of all account's collectible of project.

15. Review safety and other concerns of the project support group.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent

2. Possession of a Registered Engineer License.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least 8-10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

1. Extensive knowledge of Contract Conditions, Health and Safety Regulations, Standard Guidelines and Specifications, and Local Authorities Requirements for construction projects

2. Strong critical, problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking even under pressure.

3. Computer literate, and knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/Office is an advantage.

4. Knowledge of construction and negotiation skills.

5. Good oral and written communication skills and can coordinate effectively
