The Opportunity

We are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our MBPS Actuarial Function as an Actuarial Assistant. Established in 2012, the team has become an actuarial center of excellence, with over 160 staff and growing, along with increasing range and ownership of deliverables, specializing in Valuation, Liability and Asset Modelling, Experience Analytics, Pricing, and more.

We are looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field
  • Driven to attain designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SoA, ASP).
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python or similar program is a plus
  • Demonstrated strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; good team player.
  • Can perform tasks with minimal supervision and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and has demonstrated team collaboration
