Key Responsibilities:


1. Financial Record Management:
  - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations.
  - Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and categorized.

2. Budget Management:
  - Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  - Monitor actual spending against the budget and report variances.

3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  - Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
  - Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
  - Reconcile supplier statements and manage vendor relations.

4. Financial Reporting:
  - Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  - Provide financial analysis to support management decision-making.

5. Compliance and Auditing:
  - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  - Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

6. Payroll Management:
  - Process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  - Handle employee reimbursements and benefits administration.

7. Taxation:
  - Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings.
  - Ensure timely payment of taxes and liaise with tax authorities as needed.

8. Financial Systems and Processes:
  - Maintain and improve financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  - Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

9. Liaison and Communication:
  - Work closely with other departments, providing financial insights and support.
  - Communicate financial information to management in a clear and concise manner.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is often preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and trends.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve financial issues effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
