In this capacity, you will be predominately focused on the design and engineering of services within our growing and continuously evolving LAN services portfolio, with a primary focus on managed LAN and managed WLAN services (including managed DHCP and IPAM services). This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Provide top level design expertise for provisioning projects to ensure alignment with LAN Services for greenfield, brownfield, acquisitions, and custom designsProvide guidance and expertise of Build of Material list (parts list) for LAN Service projects as needed driven by complexityAdvanced knowledge of LAN and WLAN technologies such ethernet protocols, multi-gigabit networks, fiber networks, 802.11x, wireless access via Flex Connect and WLC, end to end wireless QOS through WMM, RF knowledge is a plusExperienced in troubleshooting and implementing Cisco Catalyst line of products (LAN & WLAN), Fortinet (LAN & Firewalls), and Juniper mistAdvanced Layer 2 and 3 design aspects for enterprise LANsAbility to design and troubleshoot high availability LAN and Wireless LANSWorking knowledge of LAN media types and ability to diagnose escalated last level support issues remotelyAbility to collaborate with other engineers, technical specialist, and vendors to provide feedback for improvements and designs with servicesAdvanced knowledge of IP, routing, and subnettingProvides last level support to Service Delivery and Operations teams for escalated LAN Services issues

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related courses.8 years of relevant experience in IT with at least 3 years of working experience in service transition or service engineering.At least 5 years of experience in the design, implementation, and operation of Local Area Networks and/or Wireless networks with Cisco and Fortinet (FortiSwitch and Fortigate) hardware in an enterprise environment.At least 1 year of experience with FortiManager.ITIL v3 Foundation Level Certification.
