The service crew plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. As frontline staff members, service crew members interact directly with customers, take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas. They are essential to the smooth operation of the restaurant and contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient dining environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu items, provide recommendations, and ensure that guests have a pleasant dining experience.Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously, ensuring accuracy in orders and adherence to service standards.Set tables with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments before guests arrive, and clear tables promptly after guests finish their meals.Inform customers about daily specials, promotions, and upsell additional items to enhance their dining experience and increase sales.Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in dining areas, including wiping tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service crew members to ensure smooth coordination and timely service.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary.Adhere to food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies and procedures at all times to ensure a safe and hygienic dining environment.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or College LevelHonest, Loyal, and HardworkingCan work well under pressure with less supervision6 months experience with any fast food chain or restaurant is an advantageAttention to detail and has dedication to serve customers quickly with accuracyStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.Work experience of at least 6 months as a Food Checker, Food Server, Bar Attendant, Cashier, Stock Clerk, and Utility in a restaurant/fast food is an advantageWilling to be assigned in SM Hypermarket Mandaluyong
