The role

Commercial Contracting Solutions Consulting is looking for a candidate with the ability to take a hands-on approach to solving our client’s problems and communicating those solutions in a clear and concise manner. 

You will be exposed to a broad range of interesting and challenging work, dealing with complex claims, disputes and organizational challenges for companies operating in the construction and infrastructure industries. 

You will have the opportunity to be involved in:

carrying out delay analysis using various prospective and retrospective analysis methods on a variety of project types;undertaking forensic investigation of facts, programs and construction methods;undertaking analysis of disruption, including work cycles, productivity rates;carrying out delay analysis on active projects, including in a forensic capacity; andreviewing and critiquing construction programs.

In addition, you will have:

construction industry experience, with sound experience in planning, scheduling, project controls roles;a construction-related degree qualification; proficient in Primavera and MS Project;adept at time impact analysis and Windows Time Slice Analysis;familiar with preparation of expert reports;adept at data analysis and comparison; andskilled at excel (power query, pivot tables, pivot charts, macros) including information interrogation and management.  

The role most suits an individual who has spent some time working for contractors delivering projects and has made a conscious decision to specialise in delay analysis and contract claims.
