The Role

 

In this virtual position, you will be greeting incoming patients with a smile and reviewing their information to verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and if there is pre-authorization needed from our client to provide the physical therapy services they offer. You will also review medical records, schedule patient appointments, and perform other admin tasks and routine office duties.

Competitive Salary Package (Up to 35,000 total package)Work schedule: Mondays to Fridays, Night ShiftHybrid Setup during training period (at least 1 month), then WFH with BCP exception 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

Greeting patients with a smile virtually (on camera)Reviewing patient Electronic Medical Records to verify their insurance and collect co-pay/co ins/deductible payments before services are renderedCommunicating with insurance providers to assess patient eligibilityVerify patient insurance coverageEntering notes & prescriptions into the patient's recordsScheduling future patient appointments according to their treatment planStaying updated with routine office duties & admin tasks throughout the workday

 

Qualifications

 

Relevant experience in Customer Service, Pre-Authorization, Medical Reception in a BPO settingWorking knowledge about US-based insurance pre-authorization, verification, health claims, and eligibility claimsExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a local and foreign teamSales experience in a BPO setting is advantageous but not requiredExperience with EMR Systems is a plus but not requiredLicensure or experience with Physical Therapy, Sports Rehab, Hospital Administration, etc., is a plus but not required
