Job Title: US Accountant
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Qualifications: 

Graduate of Accounting or any relevant degreeAt least 2-5 years of relevant experience working in US General Accounting and/or US BookkeepingProficient skills in QuickBooks DesktopProficient in Microsoft Excel (SUMIF, COUNTIF, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, and Pivot Tables)Working knowledge of MS applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsA high degree of accuracy and attention to detailAmenable to work in a Hybrid set-upWilling to work the night shift

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance;Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded;Handle banking deposits, including journal entries, postings, allocations, and verifications, to maintain accurate financial records;Post check, ACH, and credit card payments received from clients promptly and accurately;Post direct bill commission statements; experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is highly beneficial;Generate and distribute monthly commission reports to relevant departments and stakeholders;Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card accounts, and mortgages to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are addressed;Handle the invoicing process for all clients, including batch uploading invoices into the software;Manage the accounts payable email inbox, sorting through incoming requests and processing all check requests in accordance with company policies;Review and verify the accuracy of all payment requests and ensure timely payments;Ensure that all invoices are accurately processed and delivered on time;Ensure that deposits are posted into the bank register in a timely manner;Ensure seamless integration and data accuracy across various platforms;Utilize Office 365 tools for communication, file storage, and collaboration; Maintain organized and accessible digital records;Demonstrate professionalism; andPerform other job-related duties as necessary and ability to work additional hours as needed.
