Job Summary:

Responsible for the overall day-to-day Quality Control of production and manufacturing of En Gold designs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

•Investigate client and team product feedback and complaints, prepare written communications and presentations with clarity and accuracy, and act as the primary liaison between the team customer care and production management for evaluation and resolution regarding quality issues.

•Record, monitor, and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with new and existing product specifications and the proper implementation of quality checklists, quality programs, and testing methodologies to aid the quality inspection activities.

•Determine quality inspection stages, conduct quality assurance assessments, report the result of assessments, identify trends, and share best practices, and develop action plans to continuously improve customer satisfaction levels.

•Collaborate with the Production Manager in reporting defects and developing an orientation program to ensure that the working teams are familiar with the specifications and requirements for developing and implementing quality processes, including other quality matters and resolutions.

•Manage and report production progress and compliance with the En Gold Directors and General Manager.

•Identify risk areas and critical points in the manufacturing process, then provide alternatives and report the timely, accurate, daily status of testing events.

•Formulate cost-efficient quality programs, alternatives, and processes to improve quality standards while maintaining cost reductions, enhancing the overall Company’s productivity.

Reporting and Data Management and Analytics

•Perform data analysis.

•Create and develop and manage efficient factory quality control environments.

•Design and implement adequate tests and procedures to provide significant controls.

•Develop initiatives to improve production performance, reducing product holds.

•To take, gather, save to server documents of inspection results, re-work and wastage summary, photo inspection activity before and after packing, photos of container stuffing, and plotting test results on a graph, reports the quality analysis and evaluation

•Hold or join weekly/fortnightly meetings with En Gold executives citing quality incident or progress report.

•Updates of quality processes and specifics.

•Recommendations for quality system development and improvement.

Requirements:

Education/Experience

•University Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in related courses in Industrial or Interior Design.

•5-year relevant work experience in furniture design, making and quality control Skills and Behavioral Attributes

•Proficient in using technology (MS applications, SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.)

•Excellent organizational and time management skills

•Ability to establish healthy and positive work relations with all levels in the organization. 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around a factory and workshop environment, able to conduct extended amount of work at a computer when necessary. Frequent long hours and contact with people in high stress situations.
