GENERAL : 

 

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation and management of the Resort property, including but not limited to managing budgets, supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the Resort.  Handles marketing and promotional activities and maintain a positive reputation for the Resort. Resolve guest complaints and ensure compliance with industry regulation and standards.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key Functions

 

Create and Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the property.

 

Lead in all aspects of business planning.

 

Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.

 

Develop strategies for organizing, staffing, planning and executing functionalities. 

 

Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal & external audits.)Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for all departments are on target and accurate, 

 

 Hold regular briefings and meetings with all department heads. 

 

Manages the Hotel’s Executive team to ensure career progression and development. 

 

 Ensure highest standards of professional services to guests. 

 

• Maintain and manage hotel equipment, infrastructure, inventories and other    

    Facilities efficiently. 

 

• Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved. 

 

Create and maintain a brand image for the hotel. 

 

•Provide effective leadership to hotel team members. 

 

• Ensure health and hygiene standards are met as well as all permits and accreditations for the hotel.

 

 

Administrative

 

• Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded. 

 

• A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.

 

• Participating in the development of pricing and promotional strategies, as well as creating advertising campaigns for such promotions.

 

• Maximizing room yield and hotels / resort revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.

 

Operations

 

• Ensure full compliance of Hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.

 

• Monitoring the general operations of the hotel, including activities of all departments.

 

• Supervising security and grounds keeping.

 

Guests

 

• attending to complaints in order to find a solution and provide a better service, always aiming to be the best.

 

• getting feedback from guests and/or patrons in order to ensure satisfaction with general service.

 

 

Hotel Staff

 

• Managing and coordinating the employees’ duties (clerks, maintenance staff, housekeeping, sales employees, among others.)

 

• Hire, train and motivate the management team and hotel staff.

 

• promoting teamwork to ensure optimum service and that guest’s needs are met.
