The Maintenance Procurement Staff plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services necessary for the maintenance and operation of our facilities and equipment. They will collaborate closely with maintenance teams to support ongoing operations and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase Order Processing: Create and process purchase orders for maintenance supplies, equipment, and services.

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with vendors and suppliers of maintenance-related goods and services.

Inventory Control: Work with maintenance and inventory teams to manage stock levels and ensure timely availability of critical maintenance materials.

Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.

Contract Management: Assist in managing contracts and service agreements for maintenance-related activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Budget Oversight: Monitor expenditures against maintenance budgets and provide regular reports on spending and cost-saving opportunities.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor communications.

Sourcing Strategy: Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies aimed at optimizing cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability of maintenance supplies and services.

Compliance: Ensure procurement practices adhere to internal policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to maintenance activities.

Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, performance, and trends to management as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Proven experience in procurement, preferably in a maintenance or facilities management environment.Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with procurement software.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work under pressure.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Knowledge of maintenance operations and familiarity with maintenance-related materials and equipment.
