Project Captain

Qualification: 3+ years of experience in Architectural Project Coordination/Management in complex projects, with a degree in Architecture.

• Must be able to work remotely with minimum supervision.
• Organized, self-motivated, disciplined, and works well with others.
• Management experience in overseeing design development.
• Leadership experience in coordination with engineering consultants.
• Work closely with the Senior Architect / Design Manager to produce technical documentation for various projects.
• Coordinate design team members to achieve high-quality solutions per scope, budget, and within schedule.
• Strong decision-making skills and solution driven.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Competent in using AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant project management software.
• Proficiency in Revit is a plus.

   

  Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee an agreed scope of work and the operational workload of a project team, ensuring work is allocated appropriately and resources are fully utilized.
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure effective communication of progress, changes, and resolution of issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other sectors/disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design or solution and to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Manage the production of project deliverables to ensure that these meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Review and quality assure the work of other staff before delivery to ensure it meets the requirements of the client’s brief.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for own performance and that of junior team members.
