Job Description:

The Outside Sales Representative will actively engage in Sales & Marketing activities.  He/She will be responsible for implementing sales strategies to solicit new business and develop/grow existing ones within an assigned sales territory.  He/She is required to establish and build key business relationships at multiple levels in the customers’ organization. He/She will work closely with Sales Managers to deliver targets.  

Accountabilities:

To meet and exceed the sales budget in assigned territory – measured by Actual vs TargetExpand account based by continuously searching for new opportunities to generate sales revenue by soliciting freight from current and new customersTo review all potential business opportunities of customers and provide recommendations to trade/pricing to get the businessDrive own sales plan for cold calling, qualifying, and effectively connecting with prospective business partners to meet periodic sales goalsTo effectively communicate with customers in assigned territory to gather market intelligence to identify actions by customers or competitors that could mean a threat or opportunity to the company and ensure prompt updating of relevant parties in the organizationProvide Sales Managers / Commercial Head accurate market informationManage accounts in sales territory; to continuously build rapport with customer contacts and address their business needsMaintain up-to-date and accurate account information in the systemCoordinate with CMA counterpart in servicing CIF, FOB and Global accountsHandle other sales-related functions that maybe assigned from time to time

 

Qualifications:

College graduate preferably in Business related coursesProficient in MS Computer ApplicationsMature with strong work commitmentAble to multi-task; Results drivenExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal communicationMust have good presentation skillsAble to work independently and within a teamMust be able to drivePreferably two to three years experience in Sales.
