Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Receptionist/Cashier to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, the ideal candidate will have a strong medical background and exceptional interpersonal skills. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

 

Responsibilities:

Greet and attend to patients or visitors and help them scheduling appointments, maintaining records and accounts.Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, Medical Staff’s time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying medical staff of patient’s arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding medical staff of service delays.Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records. Maintain business inventory such as checking supplies, scheduling equipment, and maintenance reports.Handle all cash transactions accurately and efficiently.Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain records of all transactions.Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role Knowledge of medical terminology and proceduresProficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling systems is a plusHas a pleasing personality and is fluent in speaking EnglishExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyWilling to work on Weekends Can start ASAP
