Job Description
 

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Operations Lead to join our high-performing GTM Operations team. You'll be responsible for driving operational excellence across the sales organization, partnering with stakeholders to identify and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, productivity, and revenue growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development and execution of sales operations strategies and programs, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and quota attainment.

  • Own and optimize core processes and systems, from lead qualification to opportunity management and deal closure.

  • Partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams (RevOps, Marketing, Finance, Deal Desk, etc.) to ensure alignment and optimize the GTM process.

  • Analyze and interpret sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to improve performance.

  • Develop and implement reporting dashboards and data visualization tools to provide real-time visibility into sales activity and performance.

  • Manage and coach a team of Sales Operations Specialists, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest sales and sales operations trends, identifying and evaluating new technologies and methodologies to improve overall effectiveness.

  • Be a champion for data-driven decision making and process improvement within the sales organization.

Sales Operations Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales operations role, ideally within a high-growth SaaS company.

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing sales processes and systems.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to effectively communicate complex data and insights to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience with leading and motivating teams.

  • Proficiency in sales operations tools and technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk Sell, Tableau).

  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with M&A integrations and new product launches.

  • Understanding of Zendesk's products and solutions.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
