Position Summary:We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong Firebase and backend focus to take a leading role in designing and delivering the platforms core logic, data architecture, and third‑party integrations. While youll contribute across the stack, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the robustness, security, and performance of our Firebase‑powered backend. Frontend development will be a shared responsibility, with a dedicated Flutter developer to be added to the team.
You will work closely with the product engineering team to deliver clean, maintainable code and support the migration of customers to the new platform.

Responsibilities:
Lead backend development using Firebase tools, including Firestore, Cloud Functions, Auth, and Firebase HostingDesign and implement scalable, secure Firestore data models and access rulesBuild and maintain Cloud Functions to handle backend logic, APIs, and third‑party integrations (e.g., Xero, email, reporting)Collaborate with frontend developers to define clean interfaces and manage real‑time data flowsContribute to Flutter app development, particularly where backend integration and offline caching are criticalReplace legacy Postgre SQL‑based workflows with Firestore equivalentsSet up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and local development tooling using the Firebase Emulator SuiteHelp guide technical decisions around architecture, scalability, and offline capabilitySupport onboarding and mentoring of future frontend and backend team members.

Requirements:
5+ years of full‑stack development experience, with at least 2 years of Firebase‑focused work (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Auth)Strong experience building serverless backends using Type Script with Firebase Cloud FunctionsDeep understanding of Firestore data modelling, security rules, query optimization, and scalingWorking knowledge of Flutter and Dart, with the ability to collaborate on UI and state managementFamiliarity with offline‑first patterns, caching, and sync strategies using Firestore and FlutterHands‑on experience with CI/CD workflows, particularly using Git Hub Actions, Firebase Hosting, and automated testingExcellent English communication skills and experience working in a distributed, remote‑friendly teamNice to Have:Experience rebuilding monolithic platforms using modern cloud‑native tools like Firebase and FlutterBackground in Saa S platforms for construction, mining, logistics, or asset management industriesKnowledge of Flutter state management (e.g., Riverpod, Bloc) and clean architecture practicesFamiliarity with Firebase Extensions, App Check, and analytics or monitoring toolsA working understanding of Python, useful for interpreting legacy systems or supporting internal toolingComfort in a fast‑paced, iterative environment with early‑stage product shaping and architectural decision‑makingPlease note, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted to discuss their application.#J-18808-Ljbffr
