ERP Application Developer

This role focuses on ERP, workflow automation, database-driven applications and system integration. You will be trained to work with Frappe Framework and ERPNext through structured learning, supervised development tasks, code review and gradually increased system access.

Previous Frappe or ERPNext experience is not required. However, this is not a zero-coding or WordPress page-building position. Applicants should already have practical programming, database, debugging and version-control foundations.

WordPress and WooCommerce may form part of the role, but only as a secondary support responsibility.

Location: Unit C109, Global Construct City, Panipuan, Mexico, Pampanga 2021

Work arrangement: Full-time, on-site

Monthly salary: PHP 48,000-53,000, depending on demonstrated capability

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Understand and translate business processes involving sales, purchasing, inventory, finance, projects, customers and suppliers into system workflows.
• Learn and work with Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
• Configure and customize DocTypes, forms, workflows, reports, print formats, permissions, client scripts and server-side logic.
• Read, maintain and improve existing Python, JavaScript and SQL code.
• Build and maintain REST API integrations, webhooks, data imports and system connections.
• Investigate issues using application logs, database queries, browser developer tools and controlled testing.
• Use Git and follow proper staging, testing, backup, deployment and rollback procedures.
• Document system changes and communicate clearly with business users and management.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools responsibly while personally verifying generated code, security and business logic.
• Provide secondary technical support for WordPress or WooCommerce when required.

FRAPPE TRAINING PROVIDED

BuildX will provide a structured learning path covering:

• Frappe architecture and application structure
• DocTypes, forms, permissions and workflows
• Client-side and server-side scripting
• Reports and print formats
• REST APIs and system integrations
• ERPNext business modules
• Testing, deployment, backup and recovery practices

The training is designed to teach the Frappe platform - not programming from the beginning.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Practical experience developing or maintaining a database-driven application, ERP system, internal business tool or custom software project.
• Working knowledge of Python or another backend programming language.
• JavaScript fundamentals and the ability to read existing frontend code.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git or another version-control system.
• Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, logs, testing and debugging.
• Ability to explain your own technical contribution to a project, including how you tested and deployed it.
• Interest in learning enterprise business processes and becoming proficient in Frappe/ERPNext.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mexico, Pampanga.

We welcome candidates with approximately one to three years of relevant experience, as well as strong recent graduates who can demonstrate substantial software projects.

HELPFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED

Experience with any of the following is an advantage:

• Frappe Framework or ERPNext
• Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or another ERP platform
• Inventory, procurement, sales, accounting or project-management workflows
• Linux, Docker, MariaDB/MySQL or server administration
• REST APIs, webhooks and data migration
• WordPress or WooCommerce development involving code, databases or integrations

IMPORTANT FIT NOTE

Applicants whose experience is limited to no-code WordPress page building, theme setup, Elementor or plugin configuration - without programming, database, integration or business-application experience - are unlikely to be a match for this position.
