About the role
We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team and play an important role in monitoring costs, analyzing financial performance, and supporting management in making informed business decisions.
Key responsibilities
Manage and monitor standard and actual costs for products, materials, labor, and overhead Prepare and analyze cost reports and cost variances Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile inventory records Review raw materials, WIP, and finished goods costing Support month-end closing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis Analyze product costs, COGS, and gross margins Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements Work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Operations, and Finance teams Support internal and external audits by providing accurate cost and inventory documentation About you Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field 2–5 years of experience in cost accounting, management accounting, manufacturing accounting, or a related role Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory accounting, and cost accounting Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and financial analysis) Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is an advantage Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
