Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure efficient financial management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Manage cash flow and optimize the organization’s cash position.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports and statements.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate reconciliations of ledgers, bank accounts, and financial records.
• Analyze costs, margins, and financial performance to identify opportunities for savings and improved profitability.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
• Work with external auditors and support tax and statutory compliance requirements.
• Partner with key stakeholders to align financial plans with business priorities.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the finance team.
• Maintain strong internal controls and continuously improve financial processes.
• Provide management with actionable financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Minimum of 5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide clear recommendations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and variance analysis.
• Experience with accounting processes such as general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and audit procedures relevant to retail or consumer goods industries.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheet and financial software tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, accounting/ERP systems), with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-branch operations is preferred, along with familiarity with inventory and cost control practices. Work Set-up Flexible work schedule with designated days off (specific arrangements to be discussed during the hiring process). Benefits
