Job Description
This is a pilot role focused on driving adoption of the LMS, learningBOX, among international clients, with an emphasis on the Philippines and the wider ASEAN market. The role centers on customer onboarding and product enablement, with some involvement in early-stage sales support, helping clients successfully implement learningBOX while helping us validate our approach to growing the customer base in the region. - learningBOX is a Japanese EdTech company that develops and operates “learningBOX,” a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) used by more than 1,900 organizations across corporates, schools, and training providers. Our mission is to make e-learning accessible to everyone, anywhere. As part of our global expansion, we are launching a pilot Customer Success presence in the Philippines to serve a growing base of international clients in Southeast Asia. Responsibilities Phase 1: Core Responsibilities (Pilot Period)
- Onboard new clients by conducting product walkthroughs and live training sessions on how to set up and operate the learningBOX.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, answering product questions and resolving usage issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor customer usage.
- Collect customer feedback and share structured insights with the product and engineering teams in Japan to improve learningBOX.
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads, and follow up on marketing campaigns as they arise.
- Quality check of Tagalog machine translations on the platform
- Represent learningBOX at industry events, trade shows, and partner activities to build awareness and generate new opportunities. Phase 2: Future Scope (if the role continues beyond the pilot) The following would be introduced gradually if the pilot is extended or made permanent — not expected within the initial 15-hour weekly scope:
- Create and maintain customer-facing materials such as user guides, FAQs, video tutorials, and webinar content tailored for the ASEAN market.
- Conduct on-site visits to prospective and existing customers’ offices in the Philippines for product training, demos, and relationship building.
- Manage contract renewals and drive expansion through upsell and cross-sell of additional licenses, modules, and services.
- Proactively reach out to prospective clients in the Philippines and ASEAN, including companies, schools, and training organizations interested in adopting an LMS.
- Conduct online and in-person product demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s needs.
- Collaborate with the Japan headquarters on pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations for ASEAN deals. Qualifications
- 1–3 years of demonstrated experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Inside Sales, Business Development, or a related client-facing role.
- Experience with SaaS, EdTech, HR Tech, or LMS products is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable explaining software features and conducting training sessions for non-technical users.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience using basic productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
- Comfortable working independently in a part-time with regular coordination across time zones with the Japan headquarters team.
- Goal-oriented and motivated, with an interest in growing the role further if the pilot succeeds. Compensation
- Pay rate: ₱25k
- 28k, commensurate with experience.
