Role Description The Pharmacist role at Detoxicare Philippines, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucena. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review and validate prescriptions, and provide counseling to patients on proper drug use, dosage, side effects, and interactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and organizing inventory, ensuring proper storage conditions, and monitoring stock levels and expiration dates. The role also involves verifying compliance with local regulatory requirements, preparing documentation and reports, and supporting pharmacy audits and quality initiatives. The Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote safe, effective, and rational medication therapy. Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in the Philippines, with a valid PRC registration and good standing.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription validation.
- Skills in inventory management, medication dispensing processes, and basic pharmaceutical documentation.
- Ability to provide clear patient counseling, with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail, adherence to regulatory and safety standards, and commitment to ethical practice.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and pharmacy-related software is an advantage.
- Experience in community or hospital pharmacy is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucena, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
