Role
Own the audio department end to end: music, SFX, VO, and implementation across all active projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the audio pipeline from brief to shipped build: asset specs, naming conventions, versioning, delivery formats, and hand-off to engineering.
- Build and maintain audio schedules against project milestones; flag risks early and keep deliverables tracking to date.
- Run VO production: script prep, casting, session direction or vendor oversight, editing, and localization passes where required.
- Oversee implementation in-engine (Unity/Unreal, Wwise/FMOD or native audio)—not necessarily hands-on, but fluent enough to spec work, review results, and debug with engineering.
- Own audio QA: mix balance, loudness compliance (platform loudness targets), missing/broken cues, memory and streaming budgets, and first-party/platform certification requirements.
- Maintain audio documentation—style guides, asset lists, middleware event maps—and keep production and stakeholders updated with clear status reporting. Requirements
- Working knowledge of game audio pipelines and middleware (Wwise and/or FMOD) and how audio integrates into Unity or Unreal.
- Familiarity with DAW workflows and standard delivery specs (sample rates, bit depth, loop points, stems, loudness normalization).
- Strong written communication. Nice to have
- Hands-on sound design or composition background.
- Retro/console platform experience or work on licensed IP.
- Experience with localization pipelines and platform cert audio requirements.
Benefits:
- Company events
- Opportunities for promotion
- Work from home Work
