About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our technology team and contribute to the enhancement of existing features and development of new capabilities for our Online Web Application. The Web Developer will play a key role in designing and building engaging, responsive, and high-performing digital experiences. The role requires strong frontend development skills, particularly with ReactJS and Node.js, as well as a solid understanding of REST APIs and integration with backend systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive and collaborative developer who can translate user stories into high-quality applications while continuously improving code quality, performance, and development processes.

Key Responsibilities
Web & Frontend Development
- Translate user stories, business requirements, and designs into functional web applications.
- Design and build digital products and features that address key business needs.
- Develop and enhance features for the Online Web Application using modern frontend technologies.
- Build responsive, accessible, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product teams, backend developers, mobile engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver engaging digital experiences.
- Produce high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code within aggressive delivery timelines.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, responsiveness, and reliability of web applications. API & Integration
- Integrate frontend applications with backend systems through REST APIs.
- Work with API, microservice, and integration technologies including:
- REST
- JSON
- XML
- Collaborate with backend developers to understand API specifications, data structures, and integration requirements.
- Troubleshoot API integration issues and ensure reliable communication between frontend and backend systems. Quality & Testing
- Identify application bottlenecks, defects, and performance issues and develop effective solutions.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure developed features perform according to requirements and technical design.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and quality standards.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, reusability, and automation.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Agile & Collaboration
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, ceremonies, and practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and features.
- Communicate technical ideas, project updates, issues, and solutions clearly.
- Respond promptly to technical and project requirements.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the development team. Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with modern web development technologies, frameworks, libraries, and industry trends.

- Be proactive in learning new technologies and independently acquiring knowledge required to succeed in the role. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Professional experience in web/frontend development.
- Experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly ReactJS.
- Experience working with commonly used JavaScript libraries and development tools.
- Experience with Jest and React Testing Library.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and system integration.
- Working knowledge of JSON and XML.
- Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment, including Agile terminology and ceremonies.
- Strong analytical, technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Strong understanding of frontend application performance and responsiveness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and respond to project requirements in a timely manner.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently acquire knowledge and learn new technologies.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuously improving technical skills and development processes. Preferred Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS.
- Background or experience in backend and mobile application development.
- Experience with Cloud Native Infrastructure.
- Knowledge or experience in DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working with Microservices Architecture.
- Experience developing applications in enterprise-scale or digital banking/financial services environments is an advantage. Pay: Up to Php70,000.00 per month Work
