Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and other metal materials as required.
- Read and interpret welding drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Prepare, fit, align, and position metal components before welding.
- Set up and operate TIG welding machines and related tools and equipment.
- Select the appropriate welding method, materials, and settings based on the job requirements.
- Inspect welds for defects, cracks, porosity, and other quality issues.
- Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded surfaces when necessary.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in good and safe condition.
- Follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, and proper welding procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other workers to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform other welding and fabrication duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Knowledgeable in operating oxy-acetylene (Oxy-Acetylene/Oxy-Ace) welding and cutting equipment.
- Able to perform gas cutting, heating, brazing, and other related tasks using oxy-acetylene equipment.
- Familiar with proper handling, setup, and safety procedures for oxy-acetylene equipment.
Qualifications:
- With experience as a TIG Welder or similar welding position.
- Knowledgeable in TIG welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read basic welding drawings and measurements.
- Skilled in handling welding tools and equipment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing field/site work.
- Willing to work overtime and/or on different job sites when required.
- NC II certification in Welding is an advantage.
- Can work independently and as part of a team. Pay: Php750.00
- Php821.06 per day Work
